The Department of Dairy Science and The Department of Animal Nutrition (BAU) jointly hosted the International Workshop on the "Dairy and beef production system: Nutrition, feed balancing , welfare and sustainability"

Md. Afzal Hossain (Editor & Publisher), From BAU, 20 July-2026: A two-day international workshop on modernization of dairy and beef production systems, proper nutrition, feed balancing, animal welfare and sustainable farm management has begun at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

The workshop titled ‘International Workshop on Dairy and Beef Production Systems: Nutrition, Feed Balancing, Welfare and Sustainability’ was inaugurated at the Syed Nazrul Islam Conference Room of the university on Monday (July 20). The workshop, held on July 20 and 21, was jointly organized by the Dairy Science Department and the Animal Nutrition Department of BAU.

‘বাংলাদেশ পোল্ট্রি ইন্ডাস্ট্রিজ এসোসিয়েশন’ (বিপিআইএ) কর্তৃক জাতীয় প্রেস ক্লাবে “মানববন্ধন ও সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন” অনুষ্ঠিত 

১১ জুলাই-২০২৬, শনিবার, জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাব, ঢাকা ঃ উক্ত জনাকীর্ণ সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন, দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে আগত প্রান্তিক খামারিবৃন্দ, বিপিআইএ এর সভাপতি-মোশাররফ হোসেন চৌধুরী, সহ সভাপতি-কৃষিবিদ আসাদুজ্জামান মেজবা, মহাসচিব-এম সাফির রহমান,  যুগ্ম মহাসচিব-কৃষিবিদ অঞ্জন মজুমদার, উপদেষ্টা-কৃষিবিদ নারায়ন চন্দ্র বনিক সহ বিপিআইএ’র উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তবৃন্দ। নেতৃবৃন্দ সাংবাদিকদের বিভিন্ন প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেন। 

US Export Import Corporation, a U.S.-based company specializing in premium-quality animal feed, food ingredients, and modern feed mill machinery sourced from the global market, has expanded its operations in Bangladesh. As part of this initiative, the company has entered into a strategic partnership with Bangladesh Machine Tools Factory, BMTF, (operated by Bangladesh Army)  to introduce advanced technology and internationally recognized solutions to the country's feed industry.

সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন কোম্পানির ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক জনাব এনামুল হক মোল্লা। এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন কোম্পানির পরিচালক জনাব ওয়াকিল আহমেদ অপু, জেনারেল ম্যানেজার ফেরদৌস ইসলাম, ডেপুটি জেনারেল ম্যানেজার মোহাম্মদ আলী আর্শ্বাদ এবং ডেপুটি জেনারেল ম্যানেজার আবুল হোসেন পলাশ। এছাড়াও দেশের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে আগত সেলস বিভাগের কর্মকর্তা ও প্রতিনিধিরা সভায় অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

Scientific Overview of Immuity+: An Advanced Immunomodulatory Formulation

At Annual General Meeting for FY 2025–2026, held at Hotel Ramada Encore in Indore, Vetline, a division of Simfa Labs Private Limited, announced the launch of Immuity+, a scientifically developed solution aimed at strengthening poultry immunity and improving overall flock health. The key officials present at the product launch included Director Mr. Dilraj Singh Bhatia, Executive Director Mr. Sumeet Singh Bhatia and Dr. Amit Kumar Patra, General Manager (Sales & Marketing) who played a major role in presenting the product and outlining its benefits.
The growing need to enhance disease resistance in poultry while minimizing antibiotic dependence has accelerated the development of scientifically designed immunomodulatory products. Immuity+ is a novel formulation developed to support poultry immune competence through a synergistic combination of nutritional and bioactive components.

২০/০৬/২০২৬; সাভার, ঢাকা, বাংলাদেশ প্রাণিসম্পদ গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউট (বিএলআরআই) কর্তৃক বাস্তবায়নাধীন “পোল্ট্রি গবেষণা ও উন্নয়ন জোরদারকরণ (দ্বিতীয় সংশোধিত)” শীর্ষক উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের সমাপনী কর্মশালা ২০ জুন ২০২৬ খ্রি. তারিখে সাভারে বিএলআরআই এর প্রধান কার্যালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।সমাপনী কর্মশালার উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন মৎস্য ও প্রাণিসম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সম্মানিত সচিব জনাব মো. দেলোয়ার হোসেন। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিএলআরআই এর প্রাক্তন মহাপরিচালক ড. কাজী ইমদাদুল হক এবং প্রাণিসম্পদ অধিদপ্তরের পরিচালক (সম্প্রসারণ) ডা. বেগম শামছুননাহার আহম্মদ। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ প্রাণিসম্পদ গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউটের মহাপরিচালক ড. শাকিলা ফারুক।
