The poultry industry of Bangladesh is poised for significant growth in the coming decades, driven by increasing population, rising incomes, and a growing preference for poultry products due to their nutritional value and affordability. To meet the demands of the future, the industry will need to adopt a sustainable, innovative and long-term plan, said Shamsul Arefin Khaled, president of the Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC), an apex body of the poultry related associations. Mr. Khaled made this statement in a policy planning workshop titled “Sustainable Growth of Poultry Industry in Bangladesh and Roadmap for 2050”, which was organized, in Dhaka on 5 December, by BPICC with support from the Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project (BTF).

Nov. 25, 2024 – BANGKOK, Thailand – Aviagen® recently hosted its first-ever simultaneous Training Association meetings for its three iconic brands—Arbor Acres®, Indian River® and Ross®—in Bangkok. Over 200 participants from 50 customer companies came together for this landmark event, all united by their shared commitment to advancing poultry management and production across the region.
