BANGKOK, Thailand – Aviagen® Asia Pacific and Japfa recently teamed up to bring the latest poultry innovations and expertise to Indian River® poultry producers across Indonesia. The 13th annual Breeder and Broiler Management, Nutrition, and Health Seminar took place on Dec. 10-12 at the state-of-the-art Japfa Learning Center in Bogor, Indonesia. The event welcomed 450 industry stakeholders, providing a platform to share ideas, practices, and insights to strengthen poultry welfare, sustainability, and the ability to feed communities with a nutritious, affordable source of protein.
The poultry industry of Bangladesh is poised for significant growth in the coming decades, driven by increasing population, rising incomes, and a growing preference for poultry products due to their nutritional value and affordability. To meet the demands of the future, the industry will need to adopt a sustainable, innovative and long-term plan, said Shamsul Arefin Khaled, president of the Bangladesh Poultry Industries Central Council (BPICC), an apex body of the poultry related associations. Mr. Khaled made this statement in a policy planning workshop titled “Sustainable Growth of Poultry Industry in Bangladesh and Roadmap for 2050”, which was organized, in Dhaka on 5 December, by BPICC with support from the Bangladesh Trade Facilitation Project (BTF).

Nov. 25, 2024 – BANGKOK, Thailand – Aviagen® recently hosted its first-ever simultaneous Training Association meetings for its three iconic brands—Arbor Acres®, Indian River® and Ross®—in Bangkok. Over 200 participants from 50 customer companies came together for this landmark event, all united by their shared commitment to advancing poultry management and production across the region. Over the course of three days, attendees took part in 56 sessions led by 25 regional specialists and managers, supported by global experts and external speakers.
