Renata PLC and Vaxxinova have arranged to the first ‘Vaxxiknowledge-2025”. This seminar has took place on the 13th of January 2025, Monday, at Le Meridien Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The primary objective of this seminar was to address the challenges in managing Avian Influenza (H9N2), Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bronchitis (IB) and Mycoplasmosis (MG) as well as the latest advancements in combating these diseases.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Sirajul Hoque, Director, Renata Animal Division & Mr. Calvin Tan, Regional Manager, Vaxxinova Asia Pacific jointly delivered the welcome speech. Mr. Calvin Tan has said our long-term high-quality animal health solutions range from diagnostics to preventive solutions and strategies. With our vaccines, we want to provide highly efficacious vaccination solutions that allow for maximum performance. Then, the topics on which various experts spoke one by one were:
Mr. Julien Gros, Sales Director, International Zone, He deliverd his speech on “Poultry vaccine trend and Vaxxinova vision”. He said, Vaxxinova provides a high-quality and complete vaccine portfolio which includes all relevant live and inactivated, mono- and combination vaccines. While our registered vaccine portfolio focuses on diseases in poultry.Furthermore, we are investing in new vaccine technologies.
Then deliverd speech Mr. Dr. Ludio Gomes, Technical Manager, Vaxxinova Asia Pacific, on “Respiratory shield against IB, ND and H9N2 LPAI”. He said, A few strategic approaches help to control IB, ND, and H9N2 now and in the future.
At this stage of the technical seminar Dr. Husam Bakri, Technical Manager and Lab Director-MENA gave a technical speech on “Critical points on Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) control”. He also has told, MG live and MG killed vaccines economic benifits like reduction of antibiotic usages, better hatching egg production, superior protection and improved the chick quality Prof. Dr. Rokshana Parvin, Department of Pathology, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh-2202 was the last speaker of the seminar, and her topic of discussion was “Investigation of efficacy and safety of VAXXON AVIFLU and VAXXON ND-FLU in clinical trial.”.
