BANGKOK, Thailand – Aviagen® recently welcomed 20 poultry professionals from across Asia-Pacific to the initial module of the Aviagen Master’s Series – a unique learning initiative designed to foster knowledge-sharing between Aviagen specialists and their counterparts in customers’ operations.
Held on Feb. 5-6 in Bangkok, this intensive two-day workshop focused on data reporting and statistical analysis, equipping participants with practical skills to enhance decision-making and business performance. The sessions covered key areas, including:
- Tools to identify the right key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess business health and operational efficiency,
- Best practices for accurate data collection and analysis,
- An introduction to smart farming technologies, big data and artificial intelligence in poultry management.
Led by Aviagen’s Asia-Pacific team with support from global colleagues and industry experts from M-Tech Systems, PoultrySync and Skov A/S, the module combined hands-on workshops, expert insights and the latest innovations to help attendees optimize flock health, productivity and efficiency through data-driven approaches.

The Aviagen Master’s Series is an ongoing program designed to provide peer-to-peer educational experiences to specialists from within Aviagen’s customer base in Asia-Pacific. This first module in Bangkok highlights the increasing importance of digital transformation in the poultry industry, paving the way for smarter, more efficient operations. Further modules specific to nutritionists, veterinarians, and incubationists are planned for the future.
